Design our 125th Anniversary Pennon
Here’s an opportunity to put your own stamp on Club history: it’s our 125th anniversary in 2026, and to kick off celebrations we’ve launched a competition for Club members to design a special commemorative pennon.
The tradition goes right back to the Club’s earliest days – our very first pennon was designed by
a member in 1908. Since then, special occasions have been marked with a unique design, and our 125 year celebrations are no different. We’ve uploaded a template for the pennon to our Club website in PDF format, and members can submit their entries by email to club.challenge@campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk, or send us a paper copy by post. Social
campers can also find a pennon design template in Out & About magazine.
The competition will close on 16 January 2026, and winners will be notified by the end of January. A limited number of 125 year commemorative pennons will be printed and available via the Club Shop online.

The first Club pennon was taken by our famous former Club President, Captain
Robert Falcon Scott, on his ill-fated historic expedition to the South Pole.
