Wells-next-the-Sea is a historic, charming coastal town and working fishing port located on the North Norfolk coast in England. It is widely celebrated for its sweeping sandy beach, iconic stilted colourful beach huts, and rich wildlife habitats. Things to See and Do near Bridlington
Wells-next-the-Sea Beach: A vast, award-winning stretch of fine golden sand backed by mature pine forests. The beach is dog-friendly on one side and connects directly to Holkham Beach.
The Active Quay & Harbour: A bustling waterfront area where you can watch local fishermen unload catches of crabs, whelks, and lobsters. It is a prime location for traditional British crabbing, known locally as "gillying".
Holkham National Nature Reserve: Protecting vast salt marshes, dunes, and rare bird species right next to the town. It serves as a major hub for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers.
